Lately, I’ve been noticing the quiet ways that change arrives.
Not in grand announcements or dramatic turns. But in the soft flicker of something passing. The pause before something new begins.
A breeze unsettling the stillness. A shadow moving across familiar ground.
This week, I shared a short video that captured one of these moments. A fleeting swirl of paint in water and sand, dissolving as it formed. Land art, ephemeral art — not meant to last.
And that was the beauty of it.
“Nothing stays the same — and that’s the beauty in the fleeting. What has been becomes what no longer is… And in that shift, something new begins.”
Those words shaped the heartbeat of the piece.
It was more than a video. It felt like an epiphany. That the things we hold onto — the stories, patterns, old versions of ourselves — aren’t meant to define us forever.
There is grace in letting go. Even when it’s slow.
There’s a kind of permission that comes with recognising: This moment is allowed to change you. And you are allowed to meet it differently.
What I’ve Been Learning
These past few months of shaping my book, Uniquely You, have been filled with these quiet shifts. Moments where I’ve caught myself shedding old identities. Or noticing that a fear I used to carry just isn’t as loud anymore.
Sometimes it doesn’t take a breakthrough. Just a gentle noticing.
