Symbols of Becoming — A Quiet Reflection from the Readers & Writers Festival
Last weekend, I attended the Margaret River Readers & Writers Festival — and was quietly moved by the depth and honesty shared in so many conversations. From vulnerable memoirs to thought-provoking panels, what stayed with me wasn’t just the words, but the way they were spoken.
There was a kind of thread running through it all — a reminder that it’s not polish or perfection that moves us most, but presence. Authenticity. The courage to show up as we are.
As I continue sharing Flow-Inspired Creations and preparing for the book’s release, I’m reminded that becoming is never loud. It’s layered. Felt. Sometimes even fragile. And yet, it’s in these moments — the quiet, the real, the unfinished — that we connect most deeply.
I left the festival holding a deeper truth: that our stories don’t need to be grand to be powerful. They just need to be real.
